Gov. JB Pritzker asked for federal help cleaning up in eight counties after high winds and flooding.

Covered counties are eligible for funding to support debris removal and public infrastructure repairs.

The governor also toured storm damage in Lansing on Friday.

Illinois’ six-year infrastructure plan includes $50.6 billion in projects, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
