Pritzker signs equal pay, criminal justice reform bills

Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed bills into law Wednesday aimed at equalizing pay between men and women and expanding access to jobs in the health care industry for people in the criminal justice system. House Bill 834 prohibits employers in Illinois from asking job applicants about their salary history. Advocates say the measure will help stem wage inequality among men and women.
